About the Ride

Mallorca 312 can be classified as real tough! This is a 312 kilometers ride and you will gain 5.050 meters of elevation. It perfectly combines hardness and beauty in one ride.

You can also opt to ride two alternative routes, Mallorca 167 or Mallorca 225. All of the rides will be passing the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range.

Back in 2010 close to 200 cyclist joined to participate in this stunning ride. Nowadays around 8.000 will line up for the start at 7.00 AM to ride Mallorca 312. This is a massive growth for the longest single day event in Spain

Mallorca 312 can be classified as real tough. The course is kind of hilly, riding through rural surroundings and your climbing legs will be tested to the extreme. Mallorca 312 can be classified as a ride, that will probably break your limet both physical and mental.

You will start with a 30km stretch along the coast which gives you the chance to warm up

The start is in the early morning, that is great, because now you will see the the sun rise over the sea. A stunning view to start with before you will enter the amazing Serra de Tramuntana for some serious climbing. The Puig Major is the highest point at 899m, that you already reach after 55 kilometers of riding. This climb is followed by a long and somewhat technical descent.

You will probably think the hardest part is tackled once you have passed the Serra de Tramuntana, but that is not really the case.Β Sure you tackled the highest point Puig Major, which is a climb of 5km with an average of 5.2%, but you still have another 150km to go. Now the wind will be your toughest opponent.
